We’re currently seeking a passionate and reliable Assistant Chef to work in the kitchen to prepare fresh, high-quality meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs in a warm and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and cooking of nutritious meals for residents, ensuring presentation and taste meet high standards.
- Plan menus that meet residents’ dietary requirements, preferences, and medical needs (e.g., soft diets, allergies, diabetic-friendly options).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, complying with food safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure food is prepared and stored correctly, following HACCP procedures.
- Support the smooth running of mealtimes, including food service when required.
- Stock control, rotation, and ordering under the Head Chef’s guidance.
