Appleton Academy is seeking a committed Assistant Caretaker to play a vital role in maintaining our site and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our school community. Responsibilities
- Undertake or arrange repairs/maintenance as instructed by the Estates Manager
- Assist in the day‑to‑day maintenance and upkeep of the school building and grounds
- Support with opening and locking the school premises
- Monitor and replenish stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Ensure the site is clean, safe and hazard free for pupils and staff, reporting any issues to the Estates Manager
- Be a team player with a practical, hands‑on approach
