Summary
The Assistant Buyer, H Project is a 12-month contract role providing administrative and operational support to the Buyer to ensure accurate and timely execution of buying processes. The role helps achieve sales, margin and sell-through targets through detailed analysis, process management and coordination with vendors, stores and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor sales and margin performance and flag variances against budget and forecast
- Support worksheet completion, purchase order creation, maintenance and open-to-buy tracking
- Review vendor order confirmations and conduct purchase order follow up to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and update buying tools and systems
- Support forecast preparation, monthly and seasonal markdown execution and pre-market analysis
