Job Description
Ursa Bakery is a small artisan bread bakery in North Philadelphia. We work entirely with local grains, and mill quite a bit in-house. We are looking for a semi-experienced baker to join our small team. This role involves shaping lots of bread (especially baguettes), mixing and scooping cookies, making granola, packing baked loaves, miscellaneous chopping and prep, and of course cleaning.
The work environment is respectful and reasonable. We are farmers market based, and have a consistent 4-day work week. We have parking, space to bring a bike inside, and are accessible by public transit. The schedule for this role is:
Wednesdays 2pm-9pm
Fridays 2pm-9pm
Saturdays 8am-2pm
Please note the short Friday-Saturday turnaround. There are some additional hours available, but this will be a 20-28 hour/week role from now until around Thanksgiving.
