Position Summary/Description:
Reporting to the Sr. Associate Athletic Director, CFO , the Assistant Athletic Director for Financial Reporting serves as the lead financial reporting officer and controller for a $180+ million Division I athletics department. This position provides strategic oversight of all accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and business processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong fiscal stewardship.
Responsibilities include managing financial systems and directing preparation of required external reports, including the NCAA Financial Report and Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act ( EADA ) report. The role leads the annual budget process and long-range financial planning, partnering with athletics units, campus finance leadership, and the Rams Club to monitor performance and provide clear financial analysis and guidance.
