Job Description

The Assistant Area Coordinator (AAC) is a live-in, graduate-level position that supports the residential experience at Brandeis University through placement in either Community Living or Student Rights and Community Standards. AACs work collaboratively with professional staff to support residential students, contribute to community development, and assist in administrative and operational functions within their assigned functional area.

  • Community Living - AAC works alongside an Area Coordinator to support the oversight and management of a residential area, including supervising Community Advisors (CAs) and responding to the needs of residential communities.

  • Student Rights and Community Standards - AAC supports the administration of the student conduct process, grounded in the university’s established expectations and standards of behavior as outlined in Rights and Responsibilities.
