Asset Information Technician

About the Role

As an Asset Information Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality of Northpower’s asset information systems. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, designers, and field staff, you'll ensure network data is accurately captured and managed to support the safe and efficient operation of our electricity network.

Key responsibilities

• Updating and maintaining asset and network data within Northpower’s core systems from as-built drawings, maintenance plans, survey information, and project documentation.
• Ensuring data is entered accurately and in line with business rules, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Researching and validating asset records to improve data quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• Working collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and operational teams to capture proposed and newly installed assets.
