Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client near Chippenham who are actively looking to recruit an Assembly Engineer on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- Assembly of a range of products ensuring they are built to high standards of precision and quality
- Working from technical drawings to assemble complete units
- Testing of assembled systems, identifying and rectifying faults where necessary
- Ensuring components are lean and ready for despatch
What you will need to succeed:
- Experience within a heavy engineering environment essential
- A good eye for detail and the ability to solve problems and plan ahead
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
- Hydraulics, pneumatics and diagnostics experience beneficial
- Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individuals
