Responsibilities
- Assemble materials according to SOPs, SWIs, and product specifications using engineering drawings
- Operate hand tools within the department
- Review finished parts to ensure accuracy against drawings
- Test (air or mechanical) product to ensure functional capabilities
- Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements (i.e., continual improvements)
- Review finished assemblies & parts to ensure accuracy against drawings & BOMs.
- Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions as required.
- Operate overhead crane and jib crane (if applicable)
- Work in confined space and at heights requiring a fall arrest system (if applicable)
- Cross‑train in powder coating and blasting (if applicable)
