Job Description

Dexter Construction Company is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently looking for Asphalt Operators to join our operations out of Saint John, New Brunswick for the 2026 season. These positions may involve travel to other parts of the province as the need arises.

Asphalt Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of highways and other paving operations.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ability to operate various equipment such as Rollers, Loaders, Excavators, Backhoe and Grader, tail-ender,
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor;
  • Be aware of surroundings at all times;
  • Maintain a clean job site, and equipment in order to eliminate potential hazards;
