ASIC Design Engineer Apprenticeship Program

Program Overview

The ASIC Design Engineer Apprenticeship Program is designed for graduates who want to build a career in Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design and semiconductor engineering. Training will take place in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The apprenticeship includes 1 month of intensive hands‑on technical training followed by 3 months of on‑the‑job training (OJT). The program starts in August 2026 and is a full‑time apprenticeship.

Program Structure

The programme includes the following phases:

• 1 month of intensive technical training focusing on the full ASIC design flow, including RTL design, functional verification, logic synthesis, design‑for‑test (DFT), timing analysis, and physical implementation.
• 3 months of on‑the‑job training with a semiconductor company, where you will apply the skills learned during the technical training to real ASIC development projects.
