Artisan Assistant Civil Electrical or Mechanical

Overview

The Artisan Assistant is responsible for providing assistance and support for the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of the facility, including utilities support (plumbing, electrical, mechanical) and facilities upkeep (painting, tiling, ceiling, etc.) as guided by the operational requirements of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks according to the “Equipment Type Skills Assessment TGL v1.1” and under the guidance of a Technical Manager, Technical Supervisor or Artisan.
• Maintain and repair equipment, devices or appliances that require lubrication, modification or installation.
• Conduct supervised minor building, civil and structural maintenance (painting, tiling, ceiling, fencing, joinery) and supervised general building, plant and machinery maintenance.
• Assist with general building maintenance, painting, tiling, ceiling work, joinery, and partitioning (dry walls).
