Artisan Assistant (Boilermaker)

Overview

Artisan Assistant (Boilermaker) for mining operations in Mooinooi, North West. This is a 12-month contract to support the qualified Artisan Boilermaker with the maintenance, fabrication, installation and repair of underground mining equipment and infrastructure within a chrome mining environment. The ideal candidate will have mining experience, be physically fit for underground work, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum of 1–2 years' experience as an Artisan Assistant (Boilermaker) within the mining industry.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience using boilermaking tools and equipment, including grinders, cutting equipment, welding equipment, power tools and hand tools used in fabrication and maintenance activities.
