Job Description
The Shift Manager is an operations leadership position responsible for managing shift operations at a delivery station with a primary focus on safety and productivity. This role leads teams of Associates to achieve operational targets while maintaining the highest safety standards. The position requires working rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. During Peak Events (High Season), the Shift Manager is required to work on weekends and holidays, including night shifts to ensure the execution of plans.
Responsibilities
Safety Leadership (Primary Focus): Champion workplace safety as the #1 priority in all decisions. Ensure 100% compliance with WHS protocols and conduct daily safety audits. Investigate incidents immediately and implement corrective actions. Lead by example in following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
