Job Description
Join Arctic UAV as the Lead USV Operator in Iqaluit, focusing on managing Arctic hydrographic surveys with the ASV Viper and advanced aerial technologies.
This key role is responsible for the planning and execution of complex survey missions while mentoring trainees in field operations. You will ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards set by Transport Canada, all while fostering community engagement within Inuit Nunangat. Your expertise will guide the team in delivering high-quality survey results across remote Arctic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage hydrographic survey projects from start to finish
• Operate ASV Viper, ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Supervise survey data acquisition and mission readiness
• Mentor and train survey mission teams
• Organize logistics for Arctic field deployments

• Valid Transport Canada Master 150 GT certification
