JOB TITLE: AR Specialist 

8am-5pm schedule (Mountain Standard Time)


GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:


Working denials and aging report. Following up on medical claims that have not been paid timely. Contacting insurance companies to see why claims have to been processed, sending medical records, contacting patients regarding additional information needed to process claims. Working with coding on denials. 


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • Medical terminology

  • One to three years' experience in health care industry with third party reimbursement, collections and public contact.

  • Computer experience required for billing, word-processing and spread sheet entry.
