As APQP Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality systems with a preventive focus on validation and strict compliance with design requirements, manufacturing processes and products, as well as engineering, program launches and product transfers.
Responsibilities- Release of tooling and equipment for the entire production line, from pre-assembly to post-production equipment.
- Review and follow-up of the PPAP package, review with the client based on specific requirements, and planning of documentation for each phase or engineering change.
- Maintain and update Lear's and customer systems: Profile, GQTS, CQMS, SQMS.
- Define the special characteristics of the harness based on client requirements, DFMEA, historical phase data, and update and create control drawings.
- Request and follow up on PSW and IMDS approvals for components until all are 100% approved.
