Job Description
This is a fixed term position for 5 years.
We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity to become an Environmental Health Practitioner. Employed full time by Stoke-on-Trent City Council for a fixed term period of five years, you would be expected to attend the University of Wolverhampton for one day a week to complete a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health, whilst gaining practical skills and competing a portfolio by working at the council.
The apprenticeship course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and would lead to you becoming a Registered Environmental Health Practitioner (REnvH). As a student at the University of Wolverhampton you would have an academic timetable, attending lectures one day a week during termtime.
