Our client is a software house and looking to hire An Application Support Engineer is the senior app-layer troubleshooter. They work from APM data, logs, database queries, configuration files, and architecture documentation to find the cause of application-side incidents, resolving what's in configuration/data/integration, and handing confirmed bugs to R&D with surgical precision. They also build migrations and integrations (their own code, not product source). The precision layer between client experience and engineering. What You Own: Application-layer incident triage: logs, APM data, request tracing, root cause identification. Resolve configuration, data, and integration issues directly. Escalate confirmed bugs to R&D with reproduction steps, logs, environment context, and hypothesis. Database operations across MS SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL: non-trivial queries, schema reading, data corrections, migrations.
