Application Software Engineer

Salary: £135,200 - 135,200 per year

Requirements

• Experience developing application-level software using Embedded C/C++, C++, or C#
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices
• Knowledge of Data Distribution Service (DDS) is advantageous
• Experience in the Defence industry is advantageous
• SC Clearance is required to start

Responsibilities

• Develop application-level software, including sophisticated business logic
• Collaborate with internal algorithm teams to integrate algorithms and test complex transformation logic
• Implement and integrate interfaces with other subsystems and external simulators
• Build and extend components within an existing software application framework
• Deploy applications into a virtualised test environment
• Ensure software solutions meet system requirements within short timescales
