Role Summary

Work on and support social media intelligence tools and products. Technologies you will use:
• PowerShell, Bash or other scripting languages
• SQL Server
• C# .NET
• Hbase, Hadoop, Red Hat
• Windows/Linux

Responsibilities include:
• Provide technical and operational support for our social media monitoring tools and social intelligence products.
• Propose and implement metrics and scripts to monitor and improve application and system performance
• Work with our Help Desk to come up with solutions for customer issues.
• Perform routine database and system maintenance
• Work with our QA group to create performance test for releases.
• Mentor junior application engineer

Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field
