Applications Engineer | Middlesbrough
Reporting to the Senior Proposals Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating detailed technical solutions and proposals, ranging from PLC and SCADA systems to full turnkey solutions.
Collaboration with sales teams and customers to understand and exceed expectations are key. Accuracy in solutions and strong written English skills are critical. You’ll also manage quotation cost spreadsheets and liaise with suppliers and specialist engineering for accurate tendering. Building and maintaining professional customer relationships, and responding promptly to their needs, is a vital part of the role.

This job role would ideally suit someone who has a background in engineering or someone who has worked for is working for a systems integrator and who may want to transition to an application/solution architect type role.
