Job Overview

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands‑on leader to serve as an Assistant Manager at our Select store in Canterbury. In this role you will own people development, training, scheduling, inventory, and merchandising, and partner with leadership to drive sales and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion, mentor and coach the Store Team Members (STMs).
• Support the delivery of the expected levels of customer service and store performance.
• Manage STM goals, appearance, performance and attendance in partnership with the Store Manager, Regional Store Manager and People Operations.
• Oversee daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring smooth flow for both sales and service.
• Maintain merchandising standards and oversee the store’s appearance.
• Handle customer complaints and returns, escalating when appropriate.
• Develop STM skills through training, coaching and regular reviews.
