POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Supervising Counselor, the AOD Counselor is responsible for delivering programming services to the participants by delivering face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver programming services to the participants; Conduct group and/or individual sessions by utilizing motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic processes; Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their groups; Develop treatment plans with participants that are collaborative, individualized, and responsive to all parties changing needs.
