Job Description
We are looking for an Animal Care Assistant to join our team at the Birmingham Animal Centre, located in Frankley Green, Birmingham.
This is a permanent role, working 35 hours per week on a 4‑week rolling rota that includes working 2 weekends out of 4.
Birmingham Animal Centre has state‑of‑the‑art facilities on 72 acres of countryside with the capacity to house 160 cats and 60 dogs, plus a unit for rabbits and other small animals.
Some animals in our care have suffered severe abuse. It takes our dedicated team weeks, or even months, to build trust with these animals. Our staff and volunteers work hard to provide care and help intakes find their forever homes.
