Analog CAD Engineering specialist

Overview

Cadence is seeking Analog CAD Engineering Specialists with an analog design focus to support circuit implementation teams using Cadence tools (Virtuoso, Pegasus, Quantus, etc.) and advanced fabrication technologies. This role involves collaborating with circuit design experts to develop high-speed interfaces for chips used in cars, mobile devices, data centers, and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, support, and guidance to analog circuit design and layout teams throughout the design and layout flow (schematic capture, pre- and post-layout simulation, optimization, layout, EM/IR analysis, thermal analysis, reliability, 2.5D/3D IC considerations).
• Collaborate with Cadence tool developers and internal teams to tailor and improve tools and infrastructure, including AI-enabled capabilities.
