Plasti-Fab is hiring a Chemical Process Operator for our Crossfield plant. Your role will revolve around maintaining safety and efficiency in chemical production operations.
As a Chemical Process Operator, you will perform various essential functions at our batch polymerization facility. Candidates should ideally hold a 4th Class Power Engineer's Certificate, with strong attention to detail and proficiency in English. Key responsibilities include chemical handling, overseeing control systems, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage chemical handling and railcar unloading tasks
• Oversee control systems and troubleshoot process upsets
• Maintain production records and documentation
• Comply with safety policies and wear PPE at all times
• Clean and prepare work environments as required
