Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT WORKER/MECHANIC, Position Description Numbers D0487000 and D0483000 and is part of the KS AASF 1, National Guard. Responsibilities As an AIRCRAFT WORKER/ MECHANIC, WG-8852-08/10, you will perform inspections, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on assigned aircraft to include pre-inspection, daily inspection, pre- and post-flight inspections and such special inspections as required, including fuel contamination checks, oil sampling, an inspection of onboard emergency equipment. Conduct checks on hydraulic, electrical, transmission, power systems, etc. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform unscheduled maintenance on assigned and transient aircraft. Perform the full range of repair and testing of aircraft system, assemblies, and surfaces.
