Summary IOWA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD - TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is restricted to current Military members of the Iowa Army National Guard. LOCATION: AASF 3, Davenport, IA Responsibilities As a AIRCRAFT PROPELLER MECHANIC, WG-8810-10 your duties are below. Tests and troubleshoots aircraft rotor and/or propeller systems using special tools and test equipment. Diagnoses any malfunctions of rotor/propeller systems and makes necessary repairs. This includes disassembly, repair, and reassembling rotor/propeller system components, and internal hydraulic and electrical components using common to special tools, and equipment. Repairs and refinishes blades/propellers using a variety of metal working tools and precision measuring instruments. Performs troubleshooting of the powertrain systems using special tools and test equipment, diagnoses any system malfunctions and makes necessary repairs.
