**Amentum is hiring a qualified Aircraft Mechanic I in support of Kadena Air Base, 18th EMS, Okinawa, JAPAN.**
Aircraft Mechanics I must have a combination of experience to perform corrosion related repairs to assigned aircraft, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, required to meet the assigned missions. Make repairs to aircraft and follow direction of higher graded workers. The Aircraft Mechanic I follows specific weapon system technical manuals for aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti- icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating system corrosion control inspections. The Mechanic-I repairs, replaces, and treats damaged aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including flight control surfaces, interior/exterior aircraft skins, plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and related equipment. ...
