Job Description
Become a key player in youth development as an Aftercare Early Childhood Educator. Work part-time to provide engaging support for children ages 3-12 from 3 PM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday.
Your primary responsibilities include crafting a safe, engaging environment while delivering age-appropriate activities promoting creativity and social interaction. You'll supervise indoor and outdoor play and maintain open communication with colleagues and parents. Aligning with Child Care and Early Years Act standards is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan activities for after-school students
• Supervise students during recreational play
• Organize games, crafts, and quiet spaces
• Encourage positive behaviours and peer interactions
• Foster a welcoming and secure atmosphere
Requirements:
• Valid ECE/RECE certification is mandatory
