Advanced Technology Engineer

Advanced Technology Engineer needed by Brookhaven National Laboratory managed by Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC in Upton, New York to be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing integrated hardware solutions such as equipment racks and electrical instrumentation chassis needed for robust and reliable controls and data acquisition at the experimental stations of NSLS-II. Interact with scientists and engineers to identify hardware integration requirements, outline potential solutions, and create project proposals. Examples of systems to integrate include general-purpose I/O enclosures, motion interfaces, electronics racks, and computers. Project management for hardware integration projects within DSSI.
