Advanced Support Worker Specialist -Warrington

About the role

Specialist Advanced Support Worker for a new service in the Warrington area. You will support an adult with learning disabilities, Tourette's, OCD, and other complex needs, helping them live their best life possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide person‑centered support to an adult with learning disabilities, Tourette's, OCD, and complex needs.
• Build trust and rapport, using verbal and non‑verbal communication to navigate challenging situations.
• Work flexible day and night shifts (Day 8am‑8pm; Night 8pm‑8am) and adapt to the service’s changing needs.
• Apply Positive Behaviour Support methods and other specialist techniques to promote independence and well‑being.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and provide mentorship to colleagues where appropriate.

Benefits

• £15.70 per hour, £28,000 to £38,000 per year.
