Job Description
OBJECTIVES
Use actuarial techniques to support the Actuarial Department in analyzing, pricing and monitoring risks; the risks will include Property, Casualty, Auto, Marine and Specialty lines. Continually improve existing processes throughout program.
RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Learn about actuarial pricing and assist in pricing reviews of large accounts and programs.
- Assist in producing monthly pricing metrics, portfolio dashboards and branch P&L.
- Update existing pricing and portfolio management tools and find ways to improve current processes.
- Assist in collecting data and producing analytics for portfolio reviews, planning and year‑end reporting.
- Prepare, validate and analyze exposure, premium and claims data as basis for actuarial analyses.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, IT, Claims and Risk Control on ad‑hoc projects.
