Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Must be A Certified Activity Assistant
- Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of activities and programs for residents in an assisted living facility.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that cater to the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
- Create a monthly activity calendar and ensure activities are scheduled and executed effectively.
- Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and outside vendors to facilitate activities and events.
- Provide individualized attention to residents, taking into consideration their preferences and abilities.
- Conduct assessments to determine the interests and needs of residents in order to tailor activities accordingly.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities.
