Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Recreation Worker dedicated to enhancing client well-being through engaging programs. Your focus will be on promoting health, wellness, and recovery for elderly and disabled clients in a supportive setting.
The ideal candidate will have two years of direct experience in healthcare and proven organizational skills. In this role, you will work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver tailored recreation activities. You will assess client interests and capabilities to develop programs that cater to their physical and mental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize recreation programs to foster client engagement
• Develop creative activities based on clients' interests
• Maintain organized records and monthly activity statistics
• Collaborate with external partners for event development
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of recreational equipment
Requirements:
• Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License is essential
