The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a specialist sales and construction business with offices in Luton.
The Role
As Accounts Assistant you will be a strong number 2 for the Financial Controller and support all core accounting and financial tasks including transactional processing, month end and commercial support. Day to day duties will consist of:
- Process supplier invoices, match purchase orders, and prepare payments.
- Process storage invoices.
- Maintenance of AP and AR records
- Prepare and send customer invoices and assist with collections.
- Reconcile statements with suppliers and customers.
- Assist with bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process.
