Job Description

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a specialist sales and construction business with offices in Luton.

The Role

As Accounts Assistant you will be a strong number 2 for the Financial Controller and support all core accounting and financial tasks including transactional processing, month end and commercial support. Day to day duties will consist of:

  • Process supplier invoices, match purchase orders, and prepare payments.
  • Process storage invoices.
  • Maintenance of AP and AR records
  • Prepare and send customer invoices and assist with collections.
  • Reconcile statements with suppliers and customers.
  • Assist with bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Maintain and organise financial documents and files.
