Accounts Assistant

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well‑established business based in Bakewell who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary basis.

This opportunity has arisen due to an internal move within the finance function and offers an excellent chance to join a friendly and supportive team while gaining valuable exposure across a varied accounts role. The position is expected to run for several months, with the potential for extension depending on business requirements.

The role is ideally suited to someone looking for a full‑time opportunity; however, part‑time hours will also be considered for the right candidate.

• Processing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate coding
• Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations
• Supporting payment runs
• Raising sales invoices and allocating customer receipts
