Job Description
The Accounting Specialist / Officer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data across all water utility operations of DLB Bataan Water Corporation and its joint venture service areas.
The position is primarily tasked with preparing Segment Financial Statements and ensuring proper accounting treatment of all operational activities related to:
Consumer Services & Revenue Cycle
Maintain accurate customer master data to ensure proper revenue recognition per service area.
Ensure correct linkage of consumer records to SA/JV segments for accurate financial reporting.
Monitor movements in concessionaire records (new connections, disconnections, transfers) and validate financial impact on monthly revenues.
Recommend system and control improvements to strengthen data integrity and audit trails.
Billing, Collection & Accounts Receivable Accounting
