ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for any of the following accounting operations: Import/Export, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Taxes, Fixed Assets and Payroll calculations including profit sharing, Christmas bonus and other benefits
Manage work prepared and performed by accounting department staff such as transaction processing, journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules and detailed reports
Coordinate the timely month-end and year-end close of the general ledger and related external audits
Prepare and review month-end, year-end and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for management and external business partners in accordance with applicable Generally Accepted Mexican Accounting Principles
Manage the timely and accurate completion of all tax filings in Mexico, including Maquila-related items
Ensure compliance with all relevant Mexican regulations
