• Responsible for any of the following accounting operations: Import/Export, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Taxes, Fixed Assets and Payroll calculations including profit sharing, Christmas bonus and other benefits
• Manage work prepared and performed by accounting department staff such as transaction processing, journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules and detailed reports
• Coordinate the timely month-end and year-end close of the general ledger and related external audits
• Prepare and review month-end, year-end and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for management and external business partners in accordance with applicable Generally Accepted Mexican Accounting Principles
• Manage the timely and accurate completion of all tax filings in Mexico, including Maquila-related items
