We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. This position supports core accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations, and contributing to reporting and audit activities. The role is well suited for an individual who can manage recurring accounting tasks while partnering closely with leadership on month-end and year-end deliverables.
Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger activity.
+ Reconcile balance sheet and other assigned accounts each month, including roll-forward analysis and follow-up on variances.
+ Complete regular bank reconciliations and investigate any differences to ensure cash records are accurate.
+ Produce daily cash reporting and perform daily cash reconciliation to support effective cash management.
