Our client is an established accounting and auditing firm with a strong reputation for delivering reliable financial and advisory services to a diverse client base.  They are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and payroll services, with exposure to assurance work.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Prepare annual financial statements for trusts, companies, and sole proprietors Perform monthly bookkeeping and processing on Xero Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Manage SARS eFiling for a portfolio of clients Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and income tax returns Liaise with SARS on queries and submissions Process payroll and ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, UIF, SDL) Assist with basic audit and independent review work Prepare working papers and supporting documentation Communicate with clients and resolve queries Build and maintain strong client relat...
