Job Description

We’re assisting our client in the search for an Accountant to join their Revenue Recognition team. In this role, you will be supporting the accounting processes behind complex commercial contracts with large enterprise clients. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial results are accurate, timely, and complete, with a focus on revenue recognition for specialized communication infrastructure projects in remote and strategic areas. This is a permanent role, 3 days a week in office in Montreal. Key Responsibilities:

Support the monthly financial close process including transactional reviews, journal entries, and variance analysis

Partner with business unit leaders to understand the financial implications of new commercial agreements and client expansions

Review and analyze complex contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment and ensure alignment with accounting standards
