Accountant- Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a team of Bookkeepers
• Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax calculations and returns
• Prepare monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Generate and compile monthly Board Reports
• Draft annual financial statements
• Review accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
• Liaise with clients and provide ongoing financial support and guidance
• Assist with process improvements and implementation of best accounting practices

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom, BCom Honours, CIMA, SAIPA qualification, or relevant Accounting degree with completed articles
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification accounting experience
• Proficient in:
  • Xero
  • Dext
  • Draftworx / CaseWare
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
