Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accountant to support core accounting operations for a manufacturing organization in Duffield, Virginia. This role will contribute to accurate financial reporting, maintain the integrity of the general ledger, and assist with daily and monthly accounting activities. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in staff accounting, strong analytical ability, and comfort working with financial systems and spreadsheets in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain the general ledger by reviewing account activity, resolving discrepancies, and supporting month-end close activities.
