Looking for a Assistant AccountantRole ObjectiveTo assist with the functions of accounts payable, bank transactions, and account receivables for Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand) to ensure timely preparation of reporting and other ad hoc duties as required in assisting the Management Accounts.Key Result AreasAccounts Payable

Process all expenses accurately and efficiently, adhering to deadlines accurately producing month end balance sheet reconciliations

Ensure expenses are coded accurately and all costs correctly flow to profit and loss and balance sheet accounts

Ensure that all expenses comply with Hays policies and escalate issues to Senior Accountant and/or authorisers if required

Communicate with employees professionally regarding their expenses and liaise with suppliers if required

Load all payments to bank for approval and release
