Job Purpose
As an Accountant 3 you would lead the month‑end closing for a specific European region, manage General Ledger activities, and drive process improvements across all accounting areas.
Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee month‑end closings.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory accounting.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance across all financial processes.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders and provide updates.
- Support and guide junior accountants within the team.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Work with SAP and Excel to manage and analyze financial data.
- Collaborate with the wider European accounting teams.
- Maintain high performance during the 5‑day closing period.
