Academic HR Analyst

The Department of Pharmacology is a research and academic department located within the School of Medicine on Davis Campus. Under general direction of the MSO, this position provides daily analytic support for the Department of Pharmacologys human resource activities and is a critical position within the Department. This position responds to all personnel/payroll and labor relations issues and requires extensive analytical skills to keep up with ever-changing school, campus, university, federal and state employment policies. The incumbent acts with independence regarding standard practices and is expected to provide final drafts of communications for signature by the department manager and chair. The incumbent works in four personnel/payroll systems; UCDHS and UC campus, each with unique policy and procedure requirements. (UC Path, Ecotime, PPS, OPTRS, Recruit, MIV, OATS and Forms online). The incumbent manages all academic personnel actions in the department. Also manages Pre and Post
