Qualifications

Meet criteria as outlined in 

Master’s Degree or Diploma in Education of Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Canadian Association of Educators of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (CAEDHH) Certification

Fluency in sign, plus qualifications for specific teaching assignments as required for CAEDHH certification

Abbreviated Job Description
K-12 supporting all schools with student who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Valid BC Driver’s License is required

Assist classroom and learning support teachers in understanding needs and learning characteristics of students who are hard of hearing or who have hearing impairments
